Breakfast beliefs. #AllTheTruth


Today, we're going to speak about what we believe about breakfast and about how habits make us act in a certain way.

To start, I'll ask you one question : 
Do you think that breakfast is the most important meal of the day ?

If your answer is YES, explain it to yourself. Is it your own opinion ? Or is it something you often hear ?
If your answer is NO, try to figure out why. Aren't you hungry in the morning ?
Actually as soon as we wake up ⏰, we shouldn't be hungry. The sense of hunger usually comes up one hour after waking up.
Moreover, in the morning our stomach isn't done with cleaning everything we ate the day before. It's called the night fasting, then the word "break fast" makes a lot of sense : the fasting time is actually broken through this meal. According to biological science, our first meal should be around 12pm 🕛.

So why breakfast has such an importance in our daily routines ?
By eating before going to work or to school 📚, we hope to get a lot of energy to be productive. But as a matter of fact, many people eat a lot of sugary products  (muesli, croissants, chocolate 🥐🍫...) for breakfast, and feel actually much more tired 😴.
Why do we behave like that ? 
Because of marketing. Breakfast itself is such a good way to do good business 💸. By telling us, that breakfast is such important for our daily productivity, they created a new habit. They make us eat in the morning because we think about the reward (a lot of energy), even if we aren't hungry.

With this article, I'm not telling you to stop eating breakfast! If you like it, do it. I just really believe that you should listen to your sensation and eat only if you feel hungry and not because of your habits. If you feel really hungry in the morning, you should eat fruits 🍏🍑🍓, that are easily digested and also tasty 😋.

Personally, I eat goals for breakfast. 💪
